Playday Party Hire respects your privacy. This statement explains what personal information we collect and how we handle it under New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, party date and suburb, requested hire items, collection or delivery preference, and any message you send us. Providing this information is voluntary, but without the required details we may not be able to respond or arrange a booking.

Why we collect it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, check availability, provide a quote, arrange and manage your booking, take payment, resolve any booking issue, and meet our legal obligations. We do not add you to a marketing list or sell your information.

Who receives and stores it

Your enquiry is received by Playday Party Hire. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare and enquiry emails are delivered using Resend, so those providers may process the technical and personal information needed to provide their services. Their systems may be located outside New Zealand. We may also disclose information where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking information only for as long as reasonably needed to manage the booking, handle any follow-up, and meet tax, accounting or legal requirements. We then delete or securely dispose of it.
